Stream type T → T?

Filter

Keeps values that satisfy a generated predicate.

When to use

Use Filter when the output type is unchanged and only admission must be decided.

Behavior

  • The predicate is evaluated once per value.
  • Rejected values are discarded; accepted values preserve T.
