Adding a stream

A stream can be created independently from the Stream page or created as part of a new downstream connection in Build Mode.

When to use

Use this page while editing or reviewing the graph in the designer.

Open Stream in the navigation drawer and press Add Stream. Choose a transformation type from the icon menu.
The Stream page creates the node in the default service near the current viewport and selects it. Configure its properties and source in the properties panel.
Alternatively, enable Build Mode and drag an existing node to empty canvas. Choose the new stream type; it is created in the same service as the original node and linked immediately.
Deleting a stream with consumers requires a second confirmation. Deleting it also removes its persisted links and refreshes derived endpoint associations.

Open the designer and select Graph.
